The Retail Sales Associate is a retail professional who embraces The Salt Pines Culture and provides a world-class shopping experience to all Salt Pines customers. The Retail Sales Associate will assist customers through product recommendations, answering questions, and increasing sales revenue by up-selling and cross-selling. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in retail and a passion for living adventurously.

Position Interface
This position reports directly to the Retail Sales Lead.
General Responsibilities:
- Be an ambassador of the brand and live the Salt Pines Vision, Mission, and Core Values;
- Build great relationships with customers throughout the sales process;
- Assist customers by providing individualized attention;
- Acquire knowledge of Salt Pines products;
- Complete additional assignments from store management, including but not limited to:
- Stocking and maintaining sales floor
- Processing shipments into and out of store
- Processing ecommerce orders filled through store
- Maintaining visual merchandising standards
Required Qualifications:
- Outgoing, friendly & personable with a positive attitude;
- Team oriented with the ability to take direction and execute with exactness;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Flexibility with schedule – weekend, evening and holiday availability is a must;
- Physical ability to be on feet (standing/walking) for extended periods of time;
- Physical strength to lift up to 30 lbs.;
- Physical strength to reach, move, and handle merchandise in high and low areas.
Desired Qualifications:
- Retail experience;
- Experience with Shopify.
